Re-elect Akel Williams For State Committee / district leader

I believe that reform is needed in the Kings County Democratic Party. I am running on a platform of reform that would promote Transparency, Accountability, and Inclusion as many have lost faith in those who are supposed to serve them.

What is a State Committee Member / district leader?

A State Committee member is a member of NY Democratic Party Leadership. In Brooklyn, State Committee Members also serve as District Leaders, who serve as leadership for the Brooklyn Democratic Party.

This is an unpaid, volunteer position responsible for voting for Party leaders, nominating judges, staffing Poll Sites, writing the rules that govern our local party, and liaising with local elected leaders.

Election Day is Tuesday, June 25.
